I grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania USA very close to Lake Erie which is one of the five Great Lakes in the United States. Naturally, my father introduced me to fishing at a very young age and I was hooked. Today, fishing is still my number one hobby and in the past I was a professional outdoor writer that wrote on different topics pertaining to fishing.
In 2005, I started a fishing blog called, "The Lake Erie Fishing Blog." To date, this blog has been read by thousands of people from around the world. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted this blog so I cannot retrieve and add more content to it.
I graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Resource Management. As part of this major, I took quite a few writing and business classes. I worked for the US Government performing fishery studies but due to an illness, I had to seek alternative ways to make money.
In 2005, I heard about how easy it was to start a blogspot blog so I decided to give it a try. I really did not care about making money with the blog, I just wanted to kind of keep a fishing diary. Today, after much studying and research on blogging, I like to help others start blogs and monetize them.
